Community & Collaboration
1EdTech powers learner potential by bringing stakeholders together.
Ongoing collaborative projects and global events are a great way to be a part of shaping the future of edtech.
TrustEd Apps Program
1EdTech's TrustEd Apps Program helps educators build an open, trusted, and innovative digital learning ecosystem as they look for tools and systems that can evolve with their ever-changing challenges. Learn more here. The TrustEd Apps Program begins with our pledge to put open standards and data privacy at the forefront of the edtech ecosystem. It's the 1EdTech community's call to action—to ensure we work together to develop, adopt, and evolve open standards.
In 2022, 164 organizations endorsed the pledge. See them here.
Conferences & Events
In 2022, 1EdTech returned to in-person conferences. More than 1,000 people joined us for the 2022 Digital Credentials Summit, Learning Impact, and a Digital Curriculum and App Innovation Summit.
These gatherings inspire innovative solutions, introduce partnership opportunities, and reinvigorate our mission to power learner potential through an open, trusted, innovative edtech ecosystem.
Wellspring is a multi-year initiative that aims to bridge the gap between learning and work using open standards. 1EdTech open standards capture verifiable achievements and skills to empower individuals, while Wellspring connects educators and employers to ensure those skills are valuable in the job market. In 2022, working with Northeastern University Center for the Future of Higher Education and Talent Strategy, 1EdTech conducted an HR Technology market research project to learn more about how education credentials data is captured and managed in Human Capital Management Systems and HR Talent Acquisition systems.
Innovation Leadership Networks
The K-12 and Higher Education Innovation Leadership Networks (ILNs) are the collaboration arm for 1EdTech's institutional and state members.
Each group focuses on a compelling need or topic and develops strategic resources to help the education community enable digital transformation. Their work also helps to inform current and future 1EdTech technical projects.
